Best post I've seen is all the fixes are all cr@p, but testing and taking out RAM is the fix. Haven't tried that yet (downloading stuff now). The access of the MPQ files must be just nutty. I defragged my hard drive and then played the game for about 4 hours. I check the fragmentation of the drive again and the number 1 defragmented file was the lichking.MPQ with 2305 fragments. Thats a 2.38 gig file and it's clearly just hammered. All of the top wow files are fragmented all to hell.. Why does it write to that file so much? I just noticed something I thought I would mention.
