Theme CSS and Other
Well I have been dinkering around in the CSS of my theme trying to clean some of it up. It’s an extremely uphill battle.
It has become clear to me that whoever wrote the first version of the CSS that Ocean Mist used, didn’t understand the concept behind CSS.. or at the very least didn’t understand the C (Cascading) in CSS. CSS can be a beautiful thing if used properly.
My first thought was that I would completely rewrite it from scratch.. then I remembered that I’m really lazy.. So screw that.. heh.. But I did go through and clean it up as best I could, as well as make it compliant with IE6, IE7, Firefox and Opera – which as far as I’m concerned should be standard for ALL websites.
So I’m one step closer to releasing the Theme to the wild. I need to come up with a name though. Something similar to Ocean Mist since it’s based on that.
Also at this point ALL of my themes (and yes I’m planning to do more) will require my “Desired Functionality” plug-in for WordPress.
