I still think the game is a fantastic game.. but I agree that the 200 hour mark was never reached.

The main issue is my hard drive died and I lost all my save game data prior to finishing the game, and as such have zero desire to start over. That's telling. But I still think its good!

My wife played it through to completion and has started it over doing the various beginner lines just to see the difference.. I dunno how far she will get through the game a second time though..

At this point I still believe the game was 100% worth the purchase and enjoyed the hell out of it.. I may play it again some time in the future when my memory fades (and my ire at having lost all my save game data) but for now I'm done with it..

yeah... I'm not so sure about the game being over 200 hours.

a) I beat the game and did about 1/2 the side quests in 42 hours.

b) The main quest is really fairly short, and a large portion of side quests are fetch quests.

c) The "6 games in one" assumption is really a very poor one. The game has 6 starting missions that, when completed, are sneakily tied together with the same linear plot. I wouldn't say they have adverse effects on the game, other than a few mentions in dialogue or a couple of unique scenes here and there.

d) If you can survive 200 hours of this game then you simply aren't human. You've obviously become some sort of soulless uber-gaming machine, with no taste for significant variation; A size queen, to be frank.

This is a great game, but I'm not sure how much fun you can extract out of the alleged 200 hours... For me it dies around 30 hours and I'm wishing for Mass Effect 2 to hurry up and release itself.

I'm interested if you still find the game interesting. Am I incorrect, and your enthusiasm lasted?
