Oh man I have a lot of work ahead of me.. I so don’t look forward to putting everything back in place.
Now most good web developers would scoff at me at this point for not having the site fully working BEFORE I put it live.. heh.. yeah I know.. But I had to get that old system down.. It was just that bad..
I plan to continue my round of edits to this theme, and once I am done release it to the wild.
I also plan on removing Ed Merritts name from it as after a while its no longer his. To be completely honest, and a tad harsh about it, his HTML and CSS aren’t very good. I realize that he probably made the page from adopting someone elses work and modifying it, just as I am going to do to him.. but I plan to clean it up quite a bit;
Etc..

Okay so I have updated the JS event object in my theme to allow for persistent header images. Now when you look at an image, it will save that image id in a cookie so that it can load it again the next time you come by. Pretty simple. Check it out.
I was tired of trying to exclude every page that I didn’t want to show up. Wow could that system be more clunky..
So, I made it so if the menu_order = -1 it just skips it.
Well I haven’t had this sucker but a day or two and I’m already hacking into it.. You can really tell it’s a community project when you get into the guts.. Not a bad thing really, I like it – but there are things I would have done differently..
I plan to post my hacks in this category.
Okay so in an attempt to learn my way around wordpress and the themes, I have been making some modifications. Just little stuff.. I think the Ocean Mist theme is a good start as I said before but its going to need some changes..
